Restore
Scott Gifford learned in 1982 that the wreckage was still located in Leo Canyon. He then began efforts to rescue the wreckage, so to speak, and begin what has turned into a lifelong labor of love to restore the aircraft. Scott's Story is a book unto itself and, in fact, we have encouraged him to write a stand alone book about his 38 years of involvement. We hopeful that we can adequately tell at least an abbreviated account of Scott's Story in a chapter devoted to the details.
